Independence Day Celebration- 15 August 2025

The Independence Day celebration held on 15th August 2025 was marked by immense enthusiasm and a strong sense of patriotism. The event commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag, followed by the solemn singing of the National Anthem. A formal gathering was conducted, during which the Principal delivered an inspiring speech emphasising the importance of the day and the true essence of freedom.

Colourful cultural programmes were presented group-wise, adding liveliness and charm to the celebration. Students showcased energetic dance performances, melodious songs, and creative tableau displays portraying significant events from India’s history. Everyone participated in the event dressed in shades of the Indian tricolour, with white being the most prominent, further enhancing the patriotic spirit. The programme concluded with a strengthened feeling of unity and pride among all who attended.

School Induction Programme

 The School Induction Programme 2025–27 was held from 13 October 2025 to 17 October 2025 at GVHSS Njekkad, providing student-teachers with valuable exposure to real classroom environments and school functioning. We were a group of 12 student-teachers from various departments, including 4 from the English department, who actively took part in the programme and gained meaningful school-based learning experiences.
